The Lord starts a new work
For 15 years, steadfast prayers were offered to the Lord along with a desire to see the Lord do a new work - a Calvary Chapel style of work - in Red Deer. Trusting in the Lord and waiting upon His timing, the Lord united believers in Red Deer for the first Bible study on March 26, 2024. The Lord continued to bring others who were longing for verse-by-verse Bible teaching. Within four weeks, the Lord brought the Bible Study under the ministry of White Fields Calvary Church and revealed who the pastor would be of this new flock. By week 6, together they would be walking by faith, dependent upon the Holy Spirit's leading and preparing their hearts to love all those whom the Lord would gather.
A distinctive that will remain part of our history and our future is prioritizing the teaching of God’s word through expositional, verse-by-verse, book-by-book teaching through the whole Bible to fully equip each saint with the whole council of the word. We teach the word simply for all to hear and grow by, with a balanced understanding of the Holy Spirit's leading amongst us. Our environment is open for all to come as you are, where we, together, seek God to minister to our hearts with the truth we need. God being the potter, will mold and shape our lives for His Glory.
As we continue to move forward, we are excited to see how the Lord will minister to those of Red Deer, surrounding towns, and into the world.
